When patients arrive at Rimrock, we want to make sure their stay is as comfortable as possible. One of our goals is to make sure they feel welcomed upon their arrival. If you or a loved one will be staying at Rimrock for treatment, you can rest assured our amenities are top of the line. Here is just a quick introduction to what you or your loved one can expect during a stay at Rimrock.
Upon arrival, patients will be given a gift bag that contains shampoo, conditioner, earplugs and a sleeping mask. We understand that staying in a foreign and community environment can be difficult for some and we want to make sure everyone is able to get the rest they need to help with recovery.
One of Rimrock’s newest and most popular amenities is our media resource center. Patients can check out books, and use computers and tablets to check e-mail, Facebook, or just browse the internet. Patients are given a punch card when they enter the program. For each lecture, stress management, or group therapy session they attend, they earn a punch on their card. When the punch card is filled, it can be used to access the media center to use the computers, tablets, DVD or CD players. A new card is issued to the patient and the process begins again.
Rimrock also provides a pantry for those patients that come to treatment, but don’t have anything with them. Our pantry is full of hygiene products and clothing for individuals to choose from in order to be comfortable.
Spending time away from home can be stressful and make it difficult to focus on recovery. That’s why it’s always our goal at Rimrock to make patients staying with us as comfortable as possible.
