An Inside Look at Rimrock

Choosing to enter treatment can create a lot of unknowns. At Rimrock, we want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible during this transition in your life. That’s why we put together this inside look into what you can expect while at Rimrock.

When you choose Rimrock as your treatment center, you are choosing a unique therapeutic learning environment that promotes whole person healing. Our staff is focused on helping patients choose freedom and recovery over addiction. At Rimrock, our expectation is a total involvement in the treatment process and a complete commitment to your recovery plan. In return, we give you the best of ourselves, and together we will help you conquer your addiction and offer you a new life.

Your first step is to contact our Admissions Department. We have staff available to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have about treatment. Our admission’s staff are experts in guiding you through the process and ensuring you receive appropriate and timely care. To reach our Admissions Office call (406) 248-3175 or (800) 227-3953. Our normal admission hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday. However, we have staff available at all times to take your call and answer any questions you may have.

If you are trying to find help for a loved one, you can contact our Admissions Department as well. We have Licensed Addiction Counselors available to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have.

Rimrock views disorders such as chemical dependency and eating disorders as sick-love relationships. These relationships occur when the pursuit of a chemical high, disordered eating, or a winning high becomes more compelling than the pursuit and nurturing of our normal love relationships with people close to us such as spouses, parents, children or friends. If you’ve chosen to obtain rewards and pleasures from chemicals, food or games, you’ve become a victim of an addiction.

Unlike physical conditions, an addiction cannot be treated with surgery. Addiction recovery involves active participation from the patient and a total commitment to personal change. Rimrock uses a unique treatment program, a trained and caring staff, and your peers in treatment, to help you learn vital new information within our therapeutic learning environment.  You will be introduced to healthy coping skills and a 12 Step Recovery Program. Our goal in treatment is to teach you all about your illness and about you as a person with that illness. Then we can help you make an informed and knowledgeable choice about the course you want to take to change your life. Rimrock also believes that strong family involvement is a key part of addiction recovery.

We want to make sure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. Upon arrival, you will receive a gift bag with shampoo, conditioner, earplugs and a sleeping mask. We also have available a media resource center where clients can check out books and use computers to check e-mail, Facebook or just browse the internet. Rimrock also provides hygiene products and clothing for individuals who may come to us without personal belongings. You can find a list of items to bring with you here. For families, we have partnered with nearby hotels to accommodate your stay during family week. You can find hotels that include reduced rates here.

Aftercare and Relapse Prevention services are also offered as part of Rimrock’s comprehensive treatment program.  They provide ongoing support for patients in early recovery. Our team of licensed counselors provide education, individual therapy and supportive services for clients who have completed an inpatient, residential, day treatment or intensive outpatient program. Our counselors focus on the process of a relapse and identify tools and techniques clients can use in order to maintain their sobriety.

If you’re interested in learning more about any of Rimrock’s programs, please contact our Admissions Department. They can be reached at (406) 248-3175 or (800) 227-3953. Our normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday.  However, we have staff available anytime to help you and your family.
