If you’re tired of the same old 5K run, then you’ve got to check out Rimrock’s Pump-N-Run for Recovery! Our unique twist on the average fun run will test not only your endurance but also your strength. This is your chance to show that you’re the ultimate athlete while also supporting a great cause!
There are twelve age/gender divisions. During Rimrock’s Pump-N-Run, you’ll have the option to take 30 seconds off of your race time for each successful bench press you complete before the race. The bench press weight varies by age and gender. Women are required to lift 40-70 percent of their weight, while men must lift 60-100 percent. Yellowstone Fitness will oversee the bench press competition and assist participants. See the chart. Or, if you would rather just enjoy scenic ZOO MONTANA – you can participate in just the 5 K portion of the event. Separate Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 Age Group Finishers in both the PUMP N RUN and the 5K.
The Team Challenge is back again this year. Get your group or organization registered and you make take home the TEAM CHALLENGE TROPHY!
The events will take place on Saturday, August 3rd at ZooMontana!
- Late registration and check-in begin at 8:00am (Race Day registration adds an additional $5 to the prices below)
- Weigh-in and bench press begin at 8:30am
- 5k Run/Walk begins at 9:30am
The cost is $25.00 for either the Pump-N-Run or the 5K Run/Walk Only. Entry fee will include a guaranteed Rimrock t-shirt for those registered by July 3rd, swag bag with goodies and coupons and entry into the Zoo on race day — feel free to enjoy the zoo all day!!
You must be 18 years or older to compete in the bench press portion of the Pump N Run. Under 17 can register under ‘5K Run/Walk Only’ to still receive a t-shirt, swag bag, entry to zoo and be eligible for runner placement.
